In this very, VERY busy day and age anxiety, depression and other debilitating mental illnesses are at an all time high. And with sugar being more addictive, and more affordable than cocaine, overeating is also at an all time high.

We turn to food for comfort, which only feeds the cycle of eating, adding toxins to the body, crashing and needing to eat more to feel better. 

Exercise is not only good for the body physically, but it's also good for the mind. 

Did you know that people who exercise regularly, meaning  two to three times a week for  at least 30 minutes,  sleep better, have more energy during the day, have significantly lower blood pressure, and maintain a healthy body weight? And because exercise helps control stress levels, it also helps control depression and anxiety. It is a healthy release for excess stress!

That is all it takes to make a drastic change! 30 minutes a day, three times a week! Exercise doesn't have to mean   running 12 miles or bench pressing 300 pounds. It should be something that you enjoy! Jump in the pool and swim a few laps! Hop on your bike and go for a long relaxing bike ride!

So next time you  reach for a bag of chips or  a chocolate bar  to comfort yourself, consider putting on a pair of tennis shoes and going for a long walk instead! Get moving and clear your head! Breathe in some fresh air!

Just get moving!
